How to register a company in Singapore in simple steps
Check in via MyInfo
If you have a MyInfo account, it’s as easy as simply logging in for you. We’re integrated with MyInfo and will automatically access all the documents needed to file for incorporation on your behalf. If that doesn’t work for you, simply send us an IC or passport copy and the details:
Details we need to register your company:
- Shareholders’ details
- Directors’ details
- Your registered address
Book your company name
Singapore government charges a S$15 fee for checking and reserving the name for your future company. You won’t have to pay it as we’ve already got that covered for you. We’ll also help choose a name that doesn’t stall the incorporation process: nothing that mirrors a name that already exists or uses words such as ‘bank’ or ‘school’ that would require you to go through extra approvals.
Get your company registered
We prepare all the documents for you and send them to ACRA so you can have your company registered in minutes. Everything happens 100% online: we gather all your information and fill in all applications. The next step is for you to sign it electronically. Once the company has been incorporated, we upload your documents and the Bizfile+ into your Osome account.
Here are the key documents we prepare:
- Company constitution
- Directors’ details
- Incorporation application
Open an account: start paying, get paid
You will need a business account to process your payments and invoices, and we can help you get one. We partner up with OCBC Bank: they can open an account for you the same day you get your company incorporated. Or you can choose one of the other business account providers we work with. Either way, we introduce you to our partners’ network and help with the KYC documents. The decision to open an account for you is always up to the banks.
Deal with the official requirements
Singapore welcomes foreigners to open their business here, but you have to hire local experts. You’ll have to employ a Nominee Director, a Corporate Secretary, and maintain a local office. You also need a certified agency to apply for incorporation on
your behalf. We help with all these requirements.
Here are the key requirements:
- Corporate Secretary sends reports to government agencies
- Nominee Director acts as a director on paper and is legally responsible for business
- Registered Address for your official correspondence with the government
Get your company registered
We handle the process 100% online: collect your documents in a chat, process KYC for all directors and shareholders, fill in all the necessary documents, and send them to you so you can sign them electronically. Once it’s done, we submit the application
to the Singapore government agency, get your company registered, and upload all data into your Osome account.
Here are the key documents we prepare:
- Company constitution
- Consent to act as a director
- Incorporation application
Open an account: start paying, get paid
You will need a bank account to receive money and pay your invoices. We partner with a variety of local banks. We recommend foreigners to open an account with one of our partners. They process KYC online and can have your account set up and ready within days. You won’t have to go anywhere for it.
If you want a bank account with one of the traditional banks, you will have to fly to Singapore and visit the bank in person. Right now, this option is unfeasible. Remember, we present you to our partners, but the decision to open an account is always up to banks.
Set up the accounting routine
As a business owner, you’ll need to submit several accounting & tax reports to the local authorities. We’ll handle your day-to-day bookkeeping, prepare reports, and keep track of the timelines to submit them. You will get a Chartered accountant dedicated to your business who will proactively advise on exemptions and reliefs, so you pay taxes smartly.
Here are the reports we file for you:
- Unaudited Financial Statements
- Estimated Chargeable Income
- Corporate Tax Return
